our history: how we started and why we created jacs

JACS wasn't born out of a corporate vision, but from a heartfelt desire to create a supportive haven.  JACS has become the reality of a beautiful dream of always being able to care for our loved ones and extending that care to others. Our story began with caring for our own aging parents and beloved Aunty B, as well as our two very special elderly dogs.  As all their needs evolved, we saw a unique opportunity to transform our home into a community for independent seniors seeking a helping hand.  Seeing the journey evolve in our own family has made us intimately aware of the challenges that can come and the unique needs and requirements that seniors have in terms of their lives, their choices, their independence and also their need for a like-minded community.  At the core lies love and care, fostering an unmatched sense of peace of mind not just for our residents, but for their families as well. Knowing their loved ones are safe and secure brings immeasurable comfort. This is why we have developed JACS with an owner-led onsite approach and we are broadening our home and our family to include others that we can care for. We also believe wholeheartedly in the comfort that our pets bring to us and so JACS is not just a community for people but also for their pets. Family is everything to us, we have always had a very close-knit, supportive family relationship and we want to be able to share that with others through the creation of JACS. Join us in this new journey and be part of bringing support, care and joy to others!

We intentionally kept our size intimate, with three wings centered around our central hub, creating space that fosters both privacy and connection. Our thoughtfully designed north zone has become a dedicated haven for seniors, while the south zone remains our own family residence. 

With the guidance of seasoned caregivers and nurses, we have built a support system that prioritizes individual needs. Unlike a large institution, we offer a truly residential experience, fostering a genuine sense of belonging. Our caregivers are always around for any daily assistance that may be required.

We understand that independence goes hand-in-hand with well-being. That's why our home caters to seniors with a good level of mobility who desire to live a connected and engaged life.  We also love dogs and that's why we are pet friendly so that you are your fur baby can join our family.
